A woman was killed early Sunday morning in El Cajon when she collided with an unoccupied semi-truck trailer parked on Bradley Avenue just west of Johnson Avenue, police said.
Officers found the 37-year-old woman deceased in the driver’s seat of a a white 2004 Toyota Tacoma. She had been driving west on Bradley when she ran into the parked truck. No one was inside the truck at the time of the collision.
It isn’t known if drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision, which took place just after 1:15 a.m., Lt. Darrin Forster said in a press release.
Police know the identity of victim, but her name is being withheld pending notification of her family.
